New tendency: Women go online to find real relationship! How to use the moment?18:35:48 by Julia Dorofeeva Categories: Dating Articles
Today, as Mirror News also reports that single men and women are more likely to find true love on the internet than at work or at a party - especially if they are over 45. A poll of 10,000 married couples in 2006/2007 found 19 per cent met online compared with 17 per cent who got together at work and 17 per cent who paired up through pals. Of these, 31 per cent aged 45 to 54 met online, against 18 per cent of 20 to 44-year-olds. Galen Buckwalter of online matchmaker eHarmony, California, said: "Wanting to get married and not going online will soon be seen as equivalent to trying to find an address by driving around randomly - rather than using a map." In contrast a similar poll of 5,000 couples who married between September 2004 and August 2005 found that 14 per cent met online, compared with 20 per cent at work and 17 per cent through friends. The authors also mention "28 age concern" when women start to worry about crow's feet, wrinkles and grey hair - at the grand old age of 28. Besides, any online business is the one to go now especially when US economy is in recession (reports Market Watch). According to a survey, a 62 percent majority of CPA respondents said they were pessimistic or very pessimistic about the economic outlook for the U.S. over the next 12 months, an increase in pessimism from 57 percent who held negative expectations in the second quarter. Fifty-seven percent of respondents said they believe the U.S. economy has already entered a recession. The survey found only 10 percent of CPAs in executive positions expressed optimism about the economy, a decline from 12 percent in the second quarter. That's why it's the right time to start your Online Dating Business, and targeting your Dating Site for the audience of 27-35 years seems a good idea. This category of singles is oriented on serious relationships, ready to pay for site matchmaking services, do not need special features above essentials until they are able to get matches and serious approach. Interests should be similar though, and you should provide the right environment: paid membership plans (as many users say that payment is a basis for security and serious intentions), community communication (events, forums, blogs, groups), wide search opportunity and site alerts. Just make a step to start it and study the market for the right marketing strategy in future! Think about Niche sites, they will always be in favor... |

I have had a lot of my dear friends try online dating over the past several years. Some have had great success ~ marriage proposals. While others have had dating disasters, which always makes for great dinner conversation lol. In the past, online dating in my eyes was cringed at. However, today it has become more and more common and accepted. Online dating site have become common and accepted by all.

Thank you for your comment.
Yes, Dating Sites are common but it seems to be that they all are the same and there's no particularities in Most of them.
So the next problem soon will be - how to become unique. And Niche sites, of course, will be in favor.

You have to admit, most women on these ,A HREF="http://www.millionairecupid.com">online dating sites are not serious of relationships. They are looking for fun! They are looking for sugar daddies! They are looking for money!!! I have chated with many ladies online but 100% of them are not serious of relationships, but me.

I think that one day online dating will be the primary way to date and meet people. But first it needs to be less awkward and more social. We're lacking something fresh and exciting.

In the past online dating was kinda taboo, but today it is greatly accepted. I have a lot of friends that have used various dating services (eHarmony, Great Expectations, Jdate...) some with great success, and others have had some dating disasters. However, there are dating disasters both in traditional dating and the online dating world.

I believe that online dating will become the primary method for dating in the future. More and more of my friends are using online dating services. Also, some of these online dating services not only provide dates, but group activities. So it has become more of a social thing. My mother's good friend joined Great Expectations this past year, and they have several events each month.
