Yubo is Tinder in the teen world

Yubo was launched in France in 2015 under the name Yellow and was renamed Yubo in 2018.

At the moment, the application has 25 million users worldwide, of which about 60% are from the USA.

CHOICE, an Australian consumer control group, has released data on Tinder’s pricing model

The highlight was the fact that the premium subscription for seniors is more expensive.

The study was conducted in the «mystery shop» format and involved 60 people of different ages and genders. As a result of this experiment, the cheapest monthly membership fee was $ 6.99, it was offered to women under 30. For gay people of the same age, the price was $ 7.99 – $ 15.10 per month.

The most expensive users were heterosexual men over 50, whose cost was $ 34.37.

Pro tip: Tinder’s pricing model has already been already criticized by the California court before. But they are still using it and, as it seems, it provides them with a good revenue stream.
