Virgin Media’s survey found that online dating users can determine if a person is right for them in a 30-second video call.

During the quarantine period, virtual dating increased by 36%. And 60% of users said they would not mind continuing using virtual dating.

Moreover, 40% of users will continue to use this technology in order to get closer together faster and to weed out those who are looking for quick dates.

During this summer, UK Action Fraud received nearly 2000 reports of online dating scams.

According to App Annie statistics, Google Play downloads increased by 10% compared to last year, to 25 billion, and App Store downloads increased by 20%, to 9 billion.

Top 10 most downloaded applications: TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp Messenger, Zoom, Google Meet, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Snack Video, Telegram, and Snapchat. But the most profitable of them were Tinder, TikTok and YouTube.

Along with downloads, app expenditure have also increased. On Google Play, user-spending jumped 35% to $ 10 billion, while on the App Store, spending jumped 20% to $ 18 billion in the third quarter.
