Matchmakers are seeing higher demand for advice and coaching services
According to CEO if Matchmaking Institute, Lisa Clampitt, matchmakers are seeing higher demand for dating coaching services and now more than 80% of matchmakers offer those services.
For example, coaching program called “Dating Refresh” provided by Agape Match agency. This program curate online profiles, filters the matches and provides makeover with photo shoot. Service is provided over weekly webinars.
“Coaching is where we’ve become quite innovative,” said the director of the agency. “People have questions on how to navigate dating during quarantine, and we’ve made ourselves available to answer those questions.”
Tinder starts testing live in-app trivia
Tinder started testing its new feature in form of interactive video live trivia. The main idea behind this feature is to match people through live video.
Tinder had not specified what audience will be in test group, so no proper news on how it works for now.
Cyber-dating expert launches site to help couples navigate love during coronavirus
Julie Spira, founder of Cyber-Dating Expert, launched an advice site for couples during isolation.
On her site, Julie, offers different services, for example:
- private 15-minute Zoom call to answer any dating and profile-related questions;
- Zoom session for couples to improve their communication;
- success stories of couples during quarantine;
- a Spotify playlist of romantic songs.
