Adjust Global App Trends 2019: Discover the mobile app industry trends and see how you compare

Adjust, a mobile measurement company has published its Global App Trends Report for 2019.

The report shows the details of how the app economy flourished in 2018: Indonesia, Brazil, and South Korea were the fastest growing app markets, while Malaysia and Turkey joined the top five.

Dating apps have the fifth largest increase in traffic due to major brands exploring new growth opportunities, such as finding friends and picking up activity, video streaming and live broadcasting.

In addition, social apps, especially dating-based ones saw significant growth in user retention and engagement. Most likely due to those mobile apps being free, so the users checked them daily.

Tinder for snobs: Dating app aimed exclusively at singles who went to private school launches in Australia

Toffee app was already available in the UK for privately educated singles. And now it’s available in Australia as well.

The founder of the app, Lydia Davis, says that the main goal of the app is to connect singles with a similar background.

Toffee has approximately 30,000 active users every month.

Blued launches Blued Queer Flicks

Currently, Blued is the most popular gay social networking dating app with 40 million users worldwide.

And now they are launching a filmmaking competition in the LGBTQ+ community. The main goal of the event is to show the struggles for LGBTQ+ members and to find new talents in the community.

The 10 best short videos will be shown in July in Delhi. The winner will receive awards and a monetary prize.
