Bithive is a site for creating virtual communities.

Bumble saw a similarity in Bithive’s logo design and filed an objection with the Trademark Review and Appeal Board.

Bumble’s main argument is that design similarities can mislead the consumer and cause financial and reputational damage to the company.

One of the top dating apps, Tinder, is in danger of being swayed by a new competitor

That competitor is Hinge, which was acquired by Match Group in 2018.

Hinge’s statistics show that its revenue has grown by 88% from last year, while Tinder’s revenue at the same time grew by only 15%.

People are tired of Tinder, they need something new.

So after Match Group acquired Hinge, which promotes itself as anti-Tinder, the number of subscribers has grown from about 35,000 to 400,000 in 2020.
