“Chat first see later” blind dating game app “Heartcade

Heartcade is a blind dating game app where you can’t see your match before chatting. This app is perfect for those who are looking for long-lasting relationships.

Amy Ge, the founder of the app, believes that when people play games they make good connections and virtual friendships. There is no swiping in Heartcade, users are given 48 hours to talk to their match without sharing any images of themselves or any other personal information.

Users are matched through an algorithm that analyzes their preferences. Since Heartcade is a combination of “heart” and “arcade”, there are some rewards for several actions, such as starting a conversation and other challenges.

The rewards are even given for responding, to get rid of “ghosting” and keep users active in the app. If there is a connection between users, then continue to chat and reveal their photos, if there is no, users can unmatch each other so that they will never be matched again.

Amy Ge points out that Heartcade is focusing on the “slow dating process”, to avoid any anxiety or difficulty to make a choice.

Heartcade will be ready for download at the end of February on both Android and Apple.
