JWed to launch virtual dating initiative amid Coronavirus spread
A new virtual dating initiative was introduced by JWed, a Jewish dating app.
Their initiative is aimed towards helping people meet online and dispel the fear of dating during the Coronavirus spread.
Chief executive of JWed, Ben Rabizadeh, said: “JWed is doing everything we can to mitigate the toll the virus may have on the dating lives of Jewish singles. By providing the option to date from home, JWed can continue to help singles find their soulmates during these challenging times.”
The initiative will propose an online video chat and date scheduler.
Hily launches the different kind of compatibility quiz
Hily, acronym for “Hey, I Like You”, is a dating app that users machine learning to help pairing people.
Hily partnered with clinical psychologist Dr Joseph Cilona to create a new compatibility quiz on relationship orientation, personality traits, lifestyle, communication style and other personal preferences.
Alex Pasykov, chief executive of Hily, said: “With this new feature, we wanted to give people more control over who they match with. We also hope that it would help our users communicate better and avoid awkward pauses.”
Online dating gets political with Match.com’s new profiles
Match.com modifies its users’ profiles. Now singles can choose from 9 political view options.
Online daters can pick anything from “apolitical” or “independent” to “moderate” or “fiscally conservative, socially liberal” — with the standard polarized camps of “progressive” or “conservative” also standing ready.
