Matrimony.com: no growth in a growth market

One of the most popular matchmaking and marriage services platforms, Matrimony.com, shared its results on Indian market.

Their current database of active users is 4.4M profiles with 134 retail offline centres where users can find assistance or make payments for matchmaking services and products. Their main source of income, 97% of its business revenue, is matchmaking.

The Matrimony wedding services industry is worth $56B in India. With 10 to 12M marriages per year.

Matrimony’s revenue for 2019 $46M.
